See exactly what you're capturing, even in full sun. The DVF-EL1 is a detachable tilt-type OLED viewfinder built for the Sony Cinema Line FX5, enabling accurate confirmation of composition, focus and exposure in bright outdoor environments where an LCD simply washes out.

The 0.58-type OLED panel packs approximately 7.07 million dots with a color gamut equivalent to DCI-P3, 10-bit display support and HDR monitoring — reproducing fine detail and rich color with real clarity. Two magnification modes let you choose your priority: "Standard" for maximum resolution, or "Zoom Out" for enhanced visibility of the whole frame.

A vertical tilt mechanism adjusts from 0° to approximately 90° upward for comfortable low- and high-angle work. The eyepiece cup is detachable and reverses left-to-right, and removing it entirely lets you get closer to the eyepoint — useful if you wear glasses. The FX5's VF terminal protective cap stows inside the viewfinder body when not in use, so it doesn't get lost on set.
