Uniformly reducing light lets a photographer use a wider aperture or slower shutter speed than normally possible, aimed at smooth water or clouds during golden hour with 1-2 minute exposures. NiSi's IR protection coating and Nano coating keep color true to life rather than shifting toward red at small apertures.
