Key Features
The Deity S-Mic 3S is a short XLR shotgun microphone built for boom operators and ENG shooters who need broadcast-quality sound without adding bulk to the rig. It suits documentary and run-and-gun crews who need a mic light enough for long overhead boom sessions and tough enough for outdoor work. Its compact, weather-resistant build makes it equally at home on a boom pole or mounted directly to a camera.
- World's Lightest XLR Shotgun Mic: Weighs just 44g and measures 148mm (under 6 inches), the lightest XLR shotgun microphone available.
- 12dB Noise Floor: An ultra-low noise circuit delivers a 12dB (A-weighted) noise floor for clean recordings.
- RFI Resistant: Resists radio frequency interference for clean audio in electrically noisy environments.
- Weather Resistant to 95% Humidity: Rated to handle up to 95% humidity without affecting sound quality.
- 48V Phantom Powered: Runs on standard 48V phantom power from a mixer or recorder.
- 5-Year Warranty with Case: Backed by a 5-year warranty and includes a wooden case, foam windscreen, and mic clip.
