Description
The Blackmagic Design 2110 IP Converter 4x12G PWR moves broadcast video onto an IP network, converting four independent 12G-SDI signals to SMPTE ST-2110 IP video over standard 10G Ethernet. It's built for facilities transitioning SDI infrastructure to IP without giving up 12G-SDI equipment, and the "PWR" designation means it can deliver power over each Ethernet connection — enough to run four Blackmagic Studio Camera 6K Pros directly from the converter. Its bidirectional design also makes it useful as an extra program return path on camera-facing installations.
- Four independent channels: Converts 4 independent 12G-SDI signals to SMPTE ST-2110 IP video (or back) using RJ-45 10G Ethernet connections in a single 1RU unit.
- Powered Ethernet: Supplies guaranteed high power over each 10G Ethernet connection, enough to power up to 4 Blackmagic Studio Camera 6K Pros simultaneously.
- Program return path: Each channel includes its own 12G-SDI input, plus a separate 12G-SDI program return input that feeds all four channels.
- Standards compliant: Conforms to the SMPTE ST-2110 standard, including PTP clock synchronization and NMOS support for router-panel-based connections.
- Onboard monitoring: Rack-mount design with a color LCD for monitoring signal status, menus, and diagnostics.
