Description
The Teranex Mini HDMI to SDI 12G converts an HDMI source up to 2160p60 into 12G-SDI, with an up-converter built in for taking HD sources to Ultra HD along the way. It's aimed at bridging HDMI consumer cameras into an SDI-based broadcast chain, or adding an SDI output to a computer that only has HDMI. Balanced analog or AES/EBU audio embeds directly into the SDI output, so audio and video travel together on a single cable from that point on.
- HDMI to 12G-SDI conversion: Automatically matches SD, HD, 6G, and 12G-SDI output to the incoming HDMI video format, up to 2160p60.
- Built-in HD to Ultra HD up-converter: Upscales HD sources for delivery in Ultra HD SDI workflows.
- Embeds audio and timecode: Embeds 2 channels of balanced analog or 4 channels of AES/EBU audio, with timecode input on the right XLR connector.
- SDI re-clocking: Regenerates the video signal for optimal quality on long cable runs.
- USB or Ethernet updates: Software and firmware updates install over USB or Ethernet, with an optional Smart Panel for front-panel control.
