amaran COB 60d S Daylight LED Monolight
Key Features
The COB 60d S is amaran's updated S-series version of the COB 60d, keeping the same compact, lightweight form while improving color accuracy with an upgraded LED chipset. At 65W and a fixed 5600K daylight temperature, its bare output is 2940 lux at 3.3', but pairing it with the included mini hyper reflector pushes that to 37,800 lux — a big jump for a light this small. Improved spectral quality gives it an ultra-high SSI(D56) of 86, a 19% increase over its predecessor, which matters most for accurate skin tone reproduction on camera.
- 65W daylight-only, 5600K fixed: CRI 96, TLCI 99, CQS 95, and ultra-high SSI(D56) 86 — a 19% improvement over the original COB 60d.
- 37,800 lux with mini hyper reflector: included reflector and diffusion cover boost output from a base 2940 lux at 3.3'.
- 8 built-in effects: paparazzi, fireworks, lightning, faulty bulb, TV, pulse, strobe, and explosion.
- Full Bowens mount, compact size: works with Light Box 45x45, Light Dome SE, Light Dome Mini II, and Aputure Lantern modifiers.
- Multiple power options: 100-240 VAC included, plus separately available NP-F or D-Tap battery operation; measures 4.61 x 4.37 x 4.37" at 1.53 lb.
