Key Features
The AIDA Imaging VISCA Camera Control Unit (CCS-USB) is a PC camera controller that connects over USB and automatically configures COM ports for cameras wired via RS-232, RS-485, or RS-422. It controls up to 7 primary cameras using Sony's VISCA protocol, or up to 255 cameras using PELCO protocol, making it a practical hub for multi-PTZ installations on Windows or Mac. An included RS-232 to Cross-RJ45 converter extends communication relays for longer cable runs between the control unit and camera.
- Controls Up to 7 VISCA or 255 PELCO Cameras: Single USB unit manages large multi-camera PTZ installations.
- Automatic COM Port Setup: Software configures ports automatically once cameras are connected via RS-232, RS-485, or RS-422.
- Cross-Platform Compatible: Works with both Windows and Mac OSX.
- Includes RS-232 to Cross-RJ45 Converter: Extends communication relays for longer camera cable runs.
- Compact, Rugged Design: Built for mobility across different installation environments.
