Softron MovieRecorder 4 is a multichannel edit-while-ingest recorder for Mac, rebuilt with a new customizable interface and support for NDI sources, external audio, and on-the-fly effects.

• Fully Customizable Viewer Layout: Choose the number of Viewers displayed at once and the layout that suits your workflow, from a set of preconfigured layouts or your own.
• NDI Source Recording: Records NDI video-over-IP sources over a standard gigabit Ethernet cable, without extra routers or SDI cables.
• External Audio Sources: Records audio from any macOS-recognized source, including MADI, without needing an SDI embedder.
• Live Effects and Overlays: Crop, deinterlace, rotate, and resize video before encoding, and overlay text, timecode, or an image per destination.
• HEVC (H.265) Hardware Acceleration: Uses macOS 10.13's HEVC hardware acceleration on supported 6th-generation-and-later Intel Macs, compressing to about 40% of H.264's file size.
• CC and Pro-Codecs Included Standard: Closed Captioning and Pro-codecs (MXF, AVC-Intra, DV/DVCPRO, DNxHD, IMX, JPEG2000, XDCAM, XAVC) are included in the standard license, no separate purchase needed.
