The Remote Pack option for Softron OnTheAir Video 4 adds browser-based remote control to Softron's broadcast-grade playout application, built for stations and productions that need to control playout from a different room or a second machine.
- Web Browser Remote Control: Controls playout from any computer on the network using a simple web browser, or from a second OnTheAir Video.
- Media Browser: Lists all media available to the OnTheAir Video instance so operators can see what's available for playout remotely.
- Multi-Codec Smart Playout Engine: Plays ProRes, AVC-Intra, DNxHD, H.264, HEVC, and XDCAM clips of different formats and frame rates in one playlist.
- Dynamic Graphics Overlay Support: Builds graphics in the free OnTheAir CG Designer and triggers them within the playlist with editable variables.
- ARGB Fill and Key Output: Supports 8-bit, 10-bit, and ARGB pixel formats, outputting both fill and key signals where the device allows.
- SCTE-35 & Captioning Support: Sends SCTE-35 triggers for ad insertion and embeds CEA-608/708 or OP-47 captions from file or sidecar SRT.
