The Sony ECM-674 is an affordable shotgun-style electret condenser microphone for field and studio production. Its super-cardioid pickup delivers a flat, wide frequency response for smooth, natural sound, and two-way powering lets it run on either an internal AA battery or external phantom power, making it equally at home on a camcorder or a boom pole.
