Description
The OptoLink OMM1000 is a modular 16x16 matrix switcher that routes DVI, HDMI, SDI, and DisplayPort sources to up to sixteen digital displays from a single mainframe. It's built for AV integrators and control rooms that need to mix signal types on the same router rather than running separate switchers per format. Because the input and output cards are field-configurable, the same mainframe can be built out from a small 4x4 system up to the full 16x16 as a room's requirements grow.
- Modular 4-port I/O cards: Configure the mainframe from 4x4 up to 16x16 by adding electrical DVI, HDMI, SDI, or DisplayPort cards as needed.
- Optical DVI extension: Optical DVI cards pair with OPTICIS fiber DVI extension modules for signal runs up to 1km.
- DDC/HDCP support: Fully executes Display Data Channel and HDCP handshaking on electrical DVI and HDMI cards.
- User-assignable EDID: Lets installers designate EDID per input for compatibility across mismatched sources and displays.
- Multiple control methods: Programmed via front-panel keys, RS-232, or TCP/IP using standard terminal, telnet, or web browser tools.
- Built-in diagnostics: Embedded video signal generator and diagnostic function help isolate installation issues without extra test gear.
