Key Features
The Irix 45mm f/1.4 Dragonfly for Canon EF is a fast standard-length prime built for both portrait and landscape work, pairing a classic 50-degree field of view with an f/1.4 aperture. It's aimed at photographers who want one versatile lens for background-blurred portraits as well as sharp, detailed landscapes.
- f/1.4 Maximum Aperture, 50° Field of View: Effectively separates subjects from the background for portraits while staying sharp for landscapes.
- 9 Rounded Aperture Blades: Produces smooth, beautiful bokeh even wide open at f/1.4.
- Dragonfly Finish: Reinforced metal internal construction, a scratch-resistant finish, and UV-reactive engraved markings, with a hard case included.
- Weather-Sealed, Internal Focusing: Internal seals protect against the elements without the lens changing size during focus pulls.
- Focus Lock Ring and Electronic Iris Control: Locks a chosen focus distance for zone-focusing and supports PASM modes with EXIF recording.
- 77mm Filter Thread: Also compatible with square filters via the Irix Edge IFH-100-PRO filter holder.
