The Irix Edge MMS ND SR is a 3-stop neutral density filter built exclusively for IRIX lenses' built-in magnetic mount, letting photographers reduce exposure without threading a filter onto the lens. Its 0.9 optical density darkens the image evenly, opening up a wider aperture or slower shutter speed to control depth of field or convey motion. Because it's threadless, it attaches and detaches faster than a screw-in filter during a shoot.
