Description
The Blackmagic Fairlight PCIe Audio Accelerator is an add-in card built to give DaVinci Resolve ultra-low latency audio processing for up to 2000 mono tracks at 48kHz, with real-time effects and MADI I/O for connecting a full audio console. It's a single half-length PCIe x4 card, so it fits into a standard workstation rather than requiring a dedicated rack chassis.
- Up to 2000 mono audio tracks at 48kHz: Scales down to 1000 tracks at 96kHz or 500 tracks at 192kHz depending on session sample rate.
- One coax MADI I/O with up to 64 inputs and outputs at 24-bit/48kHz: Connects directly to a MADI-equipped console or audio interface.
- Cascading bus management with FlexBus: Manages up to 256 busses plus additional bus elements depending on sample rate.
- Synchronizes to house reference via word clock, AES, MADI, or HD Tri-sync: Locks the card to existing studio timing infrastructure.
- Single half-length PCIe x4 card: Installs in a standard workstation slot rather than needing a separate audio rack.
- Onboard six-band EQ, expander/gate, compressor, and limiter per channel: Provides channel processing without relying on the host computer's CPU.
