The VigilLink HDMI 2.0 Audio Downmixer extracts audio from any HDMI-compliant source to digital optical or analog stereo L/R outputs, while still passing the original video and audio through to an HDMI output. It handles video resolutions up to 4K2K@50/60Hz in full YUV444 chroma sampling with 10-bit HDR passthrough, and its bitstream audio downmix converts formats like Dolby Atmos and DTS-HD Master Audio down to analog stereo for simpler audio systems. HDCP 2.2 and CEC bypass keep the signal chain compatible with existing source and display equipment.
- Audio Extraction to Optical or Analog: Pulls audio from any HDMI source to SPDIF optical or stereo L/R analog output.
- HDMI Video Pass-Through: Maintains 4K2K@50/60Hz YUV444 video and audio while extracting a separate audio feed.
- Bitstream Audio Downmix: Converts Dolby Atmos, DTS-HD Master Audio, and other bitstream formats to analog stereo.
