The Vaxis VFX 4 x 5.65" Premium Coated Clear Filter is a protection filter for standard cinema matte boxes — Vaxis's step-up version of its basic clear filter. The premium multicoating resists scratches, dust, and smudges, making it the better choice for outdoor and harsh-condition shoots where the front of the rig takes abuse.
Optically it stays out of the picture: no change to exposure, color balance, or sharpness. Use it as the outermost filter in your tray stack to protect both the lens and any effect filters behind it.
