The Vaxis VFX 150mm Handheld Kaleidoscope is a handheld optical effect tool, not a screw-in or matte box filter. Hold the 150mm glass in front of your lens and rotate or tilt it while shooting to split the scene into mirrored, prismatic repetitions — an in-camera kaleidoscope look that no threads or trays are needed for.
Because it is handheld, it works with virtually any lens on any camera system. Vaxis recommends mid-range focal lengths and fast apertures so the effect blends smoothly instead of showing hard edges.
