A saddlebag-style weight bag for holding down light stands and tripods. It can also be hung using the attached D-rings and included carabiner.
Add your own sand or steel shot to this bag and create a helpful, saddlebag weight for added safety with your lights, cameras, and other gear. When both pockets are filled with sand the overall weight will reach approximately 18 lbs / 8.2 kg.
Each of the two pockets uses two zippers (4 zippers total), giving high strength to the bag and preventing leaks. Two D-rings are sewn into the top of the bag on either side of the handle. These rings create a convenient connection point when you need to hang the bag (such as to counterweight a boom stand or camera jib). A carabiner is included with the bag to make the connection to the D-rings quick and easy.
While the bag is black the handle is a red color for high visibility to avoid tripping hazards.
Because this bag is easy to fill and empty you can travel with it sans the weight and then add sand, shot, or even rocks at your destination.
