Description
The RGBlink TAO 1mini-N 4K is a compact signal node that works as either an NDI video encoder or decoder, streaming to at least 4 platforms simultaneously across RTMP/RTMPS/RTSP/SRT/Full NDI/NDI|HX3/NDI|HX2/NDI|HX at once. HDMI 2.0 and UVC I/O plus Ethernet give it flexibility to slot into either an encoding or decoding role in the same box, with low end-to-end latency for live event and IP-based production workflows.
- Encoder or Decoder: a single unit switches between encoding (HDMI/UVC in, Ethernet out) and decoding (Ethernet in, HDMI/UVC out) roles.
- Multi-Protocol Streaming: H.264, H.265 (HEVC), NDI|HX2, NDI|HX3, and full NDI encoding, streaming to up to 32 destinations at up to 32Mbps per stream via the TAO App.
- 4K Encoding: encodes at resolutions up to 4096x2160 at 60fps from HDMI, or up to 4096x2160 at 30fps from UVC.
- Multi-Input Processing: encodes a single source, or mixes HDMI and UVC inputs in picture-in-picture or side-by-side layouts, with up to 8 configurable overlays (text, images, clock).
- Simultaneous Record and Stream: records inputs to external USB or networked (NFS/CIFS/SMB) storage while streaming.
- Touch LCD Control: a large color touchscreen handles settings, source switching, and doubles as a built-in preview monitor.
