The OptoLink DPOC-14N is a 70-meter DisplayPort 1.4 active optical cable built to carry 8K DSC (7680x4320) at 60Hz over distances standard copper DisplayPort cables can't reach, up to 100 meters. It requires no external power, using only the cable's TX and RX to operate, and installs as easily as a standard copper DisplayPort cable.
- Transmits up to 8K DSC (7680x4320) at 60Hz over distance: Extends DisplayPort 1.4 signal up to 100m (328 feet) without scaling or compression.
- Up to 32.4Gbps data rate (8.1Gbps/lane, HBR3): Supports full DisplayPort 1.4 bandwidth over the optical run.
- No external power required: Operates solely off the cable's TX and RX, unlike many long-distance signal extenders.
- Supports 3D content, multi-channel audio, Dolby TrueHD, and DTS-HD Master Audio: Carries full audio and 3D signal alongside video over the same optical cable.
