The OptoLink 30M DisplayPort 1.4 Active Optical Cable is built for integrators who need to extend high-resolution DisplayPort signal over a long run without a signal booster. It suits installers feeding 8K displays where a copper DisplayPort cable would fail. Requiring no external power, it installs like a standard copper cable while carrying far more signal, far further.
- 8K DSC @60Hz over 100m: Extends DisplayPort 1.4 signal up to 8K DSC (7680x4320) at 60Hz over distances up to 100m (328ft).
- No External Power Required: Operates using only the cable's TX/RX with no external power or additional setup.
- 32.4Gbps Data Rate: Supports up to 32.4Gbps total bandwidth at 8.1Gbps per lane (HBR3).
- No Scaling or Compression Overhead: Avoids scaling or data compression to minimize transmission burden.
- Multi-Channel Audio Support: Passes multi-channel audio including Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio.
- Bi-Directional EDID/DPCP Handshake: Supports bi-directional hardware handshake with voltage assertion for DPCP and EDID.
