NiSi 82mm Circular Black Mist 1/2

The NiSi 82mm Circular Black Mist 1/2 is the strongest intensity in NiSi's circular Black Mist line, a redevelopment of the brand's popular cinema Allure Mist Black filter for stills and video shooters who want a pronounced diffused, cinematic look. It lowers contrast and diffuses highlights to balance tonal range and soften skin texture, creating a stronger atmospheric effect than the 1/4 and 1/8 grades. A brass frame adds durability and helps prevent the filter from jamming in a lens's filter threads.

• Strongest diffusion effect: The 1/2 grade is the strongest of NiSi's three circular Black Mist intensities (1/8, 1/4, 1/2), with each step up roughly doubling the effect.
• Highlight and shadow balance: Suppresses highlights and lifts shadows for well-balanced contrast with a soft core to the light.
• Cinematic flare rendering: Diffuses backlit light softly for a transparent, vintage-lens-like quality.
• Portrait-friendly softening: Softens wrinkles and blemishes for a flattering portrait image.
• Durable brass frame: A high-quality brass frame improves durability and helps prevent jamming.
