Boasting a bright f/2.8 maximum aperture, the NIKKOR Z 28mm f/2.8 excels in challenging low-light conditions while offering beautiful background separation for creative depth-of-field control. Its 28mm perspective (or 42mm equivalent on DX-format cameras) delivers a natural yet expansive field of view, making it ideal for a wide range of subjects. Equipped with a silent, high-speed Stepping Motor (STM), autofocus is swift, accurate, and smooth, ensuring precise focus for both stills and video without intrusive operational noise. The Internal Focusing (IF) design maintains a compact size during operation, further enhancing its discreet handling.

Nikon’s Super Integrated Coating (SIC) effectively suppresses flare and ghosting, ensuring images with superb contrast and color fidelity even in bright, backlit conditions. Its robust optical construction, coupled with an electromagnetic diaphragm mechanism, provides consistent exposure accuracy during continuous shooting. The NIKKOR Z 28mm f/2.8 is an indispensable tool for any Z-series photographer seeking an affordable, high-performance, and ultra-portable lens that consistently delivers outstanding results.
