It is the camera for subjects nothing else can reach.
Dedicated Bird Mode and Moon Mode sit right on the mode dial, pre-configuring focus, metering and shutter speed for the two subjects this camera was built to chase. Dual Detect Optical VR keeps 3000mm handheld shots usable, and a snap-back zoom button re-finds a subject the instant it leaves the frame. Shoot 4K UHD video, capture RAW (NRW) files for full editing latitude, and frame through either the 2.36M-dot OLED electronic viewfinder or the 3.2-inch vari-angle LCD.
