Kinefinity Movcam KineKIT-Edge

The KineKIT-Edge is a 15mm cage system built jointly by Movcam and Kinefinity specifically to fit the MAVO Edge 8K, adding rigging points and uninterrupted power switching that the bare camera doesn't have on its own. It's aimed at cinematographers who move between tripod, gimbal, and handheld shooting on the same production and don't want to power down the camera to swap batteries. Because it accepts a 15mm-to-19mm baseplate adapter, the same cage scales up to larger rod-based support systems when needed.

• UPS Base for hot-swappable power: Powers the MAVO Edge 8K from two NP-F550-type batteries (GripBAT 2S recommended) through the camera's UPS contacts, letting you swap batteries without switching off the camera.
• Enclosed top handgrip: Fully enclosed design adds safety against accidental drops and improves ergonomics for extended handheld shooting.
• Mini EVF bracket mounting point: A dedicated side hole mounts the Movcam Mini EVF Bracket directly to the cage.
• Wireless follow focus support: 15mm rods and a top NATO plate mount a wireless follow focus motor for cine lens control.
• Expands to a 19mm rod system: A 15mm-to-19mm baseplate adapter converts the rig for larger accessories without replacing the cage.
