Canon RF 28-70mm f/2.8 IS STM Lens

Canon built the RF 28-70mm f/2.8 IS STM as the smallest, lightest RF zoom with image quality equal to an L-series lens, achieving a constant f/2.8 aperture in a body light enough to carry all day. A redesigned image stabilization unit is the key to the size reduction, and electronic distortion correction lets the optical design stay compact without sacrificing image quality across the frame. It combines 5.5 stops of in-lens stabilization with in-body stabilization for a coordinated 7.5 stops total, and the leadscrew-type STM focus motor is quiet enough for video work as well as stills.
