Description
The Micro Studio Camera 4K G2 packs a full-featured broadcast studio camera into a body not much bigger than its MFT lens mount, small enough to hide almost anywhere on set while still supporting 12G-SDI up to 2160p60 and remote lens/color control from a switcher. Gain ranges from -12dB (ISO 100) up to +36dB (ISO 25,600), with a native ISO of 400 for studio lighting and a high-base ISO of 3200 for dim environments, and 13 stops of dynamic range paired with Blackmagic's generation 5 color science give it cinematic image quality despite the tiny form factor. It can record 12-bit Blackmagic RAW directly to a USB-C external disk, so it doubles as a lightweight cinema camera when it's not on a live switcher.
- MFT lens mount, 4096x2160 sensor: 13 stops of dynamic range, gain from -12dB (ISO 100) to +36dB (ISO 25,600).
- 12G-SDI up to 2160p60: full-size HDMI for local monitoring, same camera control protocol as ATEM switchers over both connections.
- Remote color and lens control: switcher-driven active MFT lens mount adjusts focus/zoom/iris remotely; built-in DaVinci Resolve color corrector controllable from the switcher.
- Records Blackmagic RAW to USB-C disks: 12-bit RAW recording via the USB-C expansion port for editing without a proxy workflow.
- Built-in tally light: red for on-air, green for preview, orange for ISO recording, driven by SDI/HDMI tally protocol from ATEM switchers.
