Blackmagic Design PYXIS 12K EF

The Blackmagic Design PYXIS 12K EF is the EF-mount version of Blackmagic's modular digital film camera, built around a full-frame 12,288 x 8040 RGBW sensor with 16 stops of dynamic range. It's aimed at productions and shooters who already have a collection of Canon-mount photo or cine lenses and want to put them on a high-end cinema sensor without buying new glass. Like the rest of the PYXIS line, its compact body is designed to be rigged into whatever configuration a shoot calls for.

• 12K full-frame sensor: A 12,288 x 8040 RGBW sensor with 16 stops of dynamic range and a built-in optical low pass filter matched to the sensor.
• Locking EF mount: Works directly with Canon-compatible photo and cine lenses you may already own from DSLRs or Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Cameras.
• Dual Blackmagic RAW and proxy recording: Records 12-bit Blackmagic RAW and small H.264 proxies simultaneously to dual CFexpress card slots.
• Modular, riggable body: A CNC-machined aerospace aluminum body with multiple 1/4" and 3/8" mounts and swappable side plates for handles, mics, or SSDs.
• 4-inch HDR touchscreen: A 1500-nit built-in display handles monitoring, focus assist, exposure tools, and 3D LUTs without an external monitor.
• Blackmagic Cloud ready: Uploads H.264 proxies over Ethernet or a tethered 4G/5G phone so editors can start cutting while you're still shooting.
• Built-in live streaming: A hardware streaming engine sends RTMP and SRT feeds directly to YouTube, Facebook, X, or a Blackmagic ATEM Streaming Bridge.
• DaVinci Resolve Studio included: Ships with a full license for editing, color grading, audio post, and visual effects.
