Description
BirdDog Flex 4K IN is one of three models in BirdDog's Flex family of ultra-compact 4K NDI encoders/decoders, built around a single Ethernet cable carrying video, audio, tally, PTZ control, audio intercom, and power. As the encoder in the lineup, Flex IN is built to take an HDMI source, such as a PTZ camera, and turn it into an NDI stream.
- Single-Cable NDI Workflow: Carries video, audio, tally, PTZ control, audio intercom, and power over one Ethernet cable.
- Credit-Card-Sized Footprint: One of the smallest 4K NDI encoders/decoders available.
- Halo Tally: Works with zero configuration on any NDI-enabled, software-based production system.
- Optional Dante Support: Adds Dante input/output via a separately licensed $69 upgrade.
- Free Central Lite and Comms Lite Software: NDI routing and 4-device audio intercom included at no extra cost.
- RESTful API Included: Lets you build custom automation across BirdDog hardware endpoints.
- PoE with 15W DC Power Output: Powers a connected monitor, recorder, or camera from the same Ethernet run.
