The Tilta Battery Plate for Blackmagic PYXIS 6K locks into the camera's internal battery compartment using a dummy-battery-style connection, letting a shooter run the PYXIS from a higher-capacity V-Mount or Gold Mount battery instead of the camera's internal cells. That swap significantly extends runtime over relying on internal batteries alone, and the plate's built-in P-Tap, Lemo, USB-C, and DC ports give a rig multiple ways to power accessories at the same time. Its DC input also supports hot-swapping batteries without powering down the camera.
