The MID49 Baseline 15mm LW is a baseplate built to hold 15mm lightweight rods at the correct distance from the lens center on the Sony FS5, Panasonic EVA1, VariCam LT, and VariCam 35, integrating ARRI and ARCA dovetail mounting in one unit.
- ARRI Dovetail Bottom Slot: Top-load locking mechanism attaches to the included Baseline ARRI Dovetail or other standard ARRI dovetails.
- ARCA Dovetail Top Slot: Holds the included ARCA Dovetail, installable from the top or the back with a safety-pin engagement.
- Center Screw Slot for Accessories: Accepts 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 mounting screws, plus a vertical rod hole for 1/4-20 lens support posts like Metabones adaptors.
- Modular Component System: Baseline Core 15mm LW, Baseline ARCA Dovetail, and Baseline ARRI Dovetail are also available individually.
