The MID49 Baseline 15mm LW baseplate positions 15mm lightweight rods at the correct distance from the lens center on RED KOMODO, KOMODO-X, Blackmagic Pocket 4K, and FREEFLY Ember S5K cameras. It's aimed at cinema camera operators building a rod-supported rig who need a quick-release baseplate rather than a fixed, non-removable mount. Top-load ARCA and ARRI dovetail interfaces let it integrate into a wider MID49 baseplate ecosystem.

• ARRI Dovetail with Top-Load Locking: A bottom ARRI dovetail slot attaches to the included Baseline ARRI Dovetail using a top-load locking mechanism, releasable with a thumbscrew and button.
• ARCA Dovetail on Top: A top ARCA dovetail slot holds the included ARCA Dovetail, top-loadable or slid in from the back with a safety-pin engagement.
• Center Screw Slot with Lens Support Post Hole: The ARCA Dovetail's center screw slot accepts 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 mounting screws, with a vertical rod hole for a lens support post.
