MID49's Audio Breakout AB-5 converts a Sony Venice or Venice 2's single 5-pin XLR audio connector into two standard full-size XLRs, splitting one combined connector into independent inputs for two microphones or a mixer feed. It mounts via a captive 1/4-20 screw to the camera body or a third-party cage, and its 8-inch cable with a 5-pin male XLR connector plugs straight into the camera's existing audio port. Because it's a passive adapter, there's no power draw or electronics to add failure points on set.
