Key Features
The 8U SKB Roto Shock Rack (20 RD) isolates an internal frame on adjustable elastomer shock absorbers at all eight corners, controlling shock and vibration on all three axes for sensitive gear in transit. The "sway" space between the internal frame and outer shell provides natural air circulation, which matters for equipment that generates heat during operation.
- 8-Point Shock Isolation: adjustable elastomer shock absorbers on all eight corners control shock and vibration on all three axes.
- Field-Replaceable Shocks: standard shocks can be swapped for other available elastomeric shocks to accommodate different weight-bearing requirements in rugged or military use.
- Threaded Rack Rails: front and rear rails are threaded for straightforward equipment mounting.
- Lighter Than Wood Racks: significantly lighter than older wood rack construction while still offering maximum protection.
- 20" Rack Depth: an 8U-height, 20"-deep roto-molded shock rack sized for standard 19" rack-mount gear.
