The 14U SKB Roto Shock Rack (20 RD) isolates an internal frame on adjustable elastomer shock absorbers at all eight corners, controlling shock and vibration on all three axes for sensitive gear in transit. Front and rear rack rails are threaded for straightforward equipment mounting, and the roto-molded shell is significantly lighter than older wood rack construction while still offering serious impact protection.
- 8-Point Shock Isolation: adjustable elastomer shock absorbers on all eight corners control shock and vibration on all three axes.
- Field-Replaceable Shocks: standard shocks can be swapped for other available elastomeric shocks to accommodate different weight-bearing requirements in rugged or military use.
- Threaded Rack Rails: front and rear rails are threaded for straightforward equipment mounting.
- 20" Rack Depth: a 14U-height, 20"-deep roto-molded shock rack sized for standard 19" rack-mount gear.
- Lighter Than Wood Racks: significantly lighter than older wood rack construction while still offering maximum protection.
