Key Features
The SKB 12U Roto Shockmount Rack Case (20 RD) is built for sensitive electronics that need to survive rough handling and heavy vibration, using an internal shock-mounted frame instead of a rigid wood or plastic shell.
- 8-Corner Elastomer Shock Mounting: Internal frame rides on adjustable shock absorbers at all eight corners to control shock and vibration on all three axes.
- Sway Space for Natural Airflow: The gap around the internal frame provides passive air circulation for delicate equipment.
- Field-Replaceable Shocks: Standard shocks can be swapped for other elastomeric shocks to accommodate different weight-bearing needs.
- Threaded Front & Rear Rack Rails: Simplifies mounting equipment compared to older wood rack designs.
- Lighter Than Wood Racks: Delivers comparable protection at a lower weight than traditional wood rack cases.
