At its core, the Sonnar E 24mm F1.8 ZA leverages a sophisticated optical construction to deliver unparalleled image clarity. The wide F1.8 maximum aperture not only excels in low-light conditions but also provides exquisite control over depth of field, rendering subjects with striking separation from their backgrounds. Furthermore, the renowned ZEISS® T* anti-reflective coating is meticulously applied to minimize flare and ghosting, ensuring images boast rich, vibrant colors and superb contrast even in challenging lighting environments. The 24mm focal length (a versatile 35mm equivalent on APS-C) makes it ideal for a broad range of applications, from sweeping architectural shots to compelling environmental portraits.

Designed for both portability and precision, this lens weighs a mere 8 ounces and maintains a sleek profile (2.5 x 2.625 inches), making it an ideal companion for all-day shooting without fatigue. An internal drive motor ensures smooth, quiet, and fast autofocus performance, a critical advantage for both still photography and cinematic video recording where silent operation is paramount. Beyond its wide-angle prowess, the lens also offers an impressive minimum focus distance of just 0.16 meters (6.30 inches), achieving a 0.25x magnification ratio for engaging 1:4 macro-style close-up shots that reveal intricate details.

Experience a new level of photographic and videographic expression with the Sony Sonnar E 24mm F1.8 ZA APS-C Wide-angle Prime ZEISS Lens. Its blend of ZEISS optical excellence, a fast F1.8 aperture, superior build quality, and versatile performance makes it a standout choice for creators seeking a high-performance prime lens to unlock the full potential of their APS-C camera system.
