Engineered for optical excellence, the XF16mmF1.4 features a sophisticated construction of 13 elements in 11 groups, including two aspherical elements and two ED (Extra-low Dispersion) elements. This advanced design effectively minimizes spherical and chromatic aberrations, ensuring stunning corner-to-corner sharpness, high contrast, and vibrant color reproduction even at its widest aperture. The nine-bladed rounded diaphragm produces beautifully smooth bokeh, adding a painterly quality to out-of-focus areas, while its impressive minimum focusing distance of 15cm unlocks creative close-up perspectives.

Built to withstand challenging environments, the Fujifilm XF16mmF1.4 boasts "R WR" weather-resistant construction, protecting against dust, moisture, and low temperatures, making it a reliable companion for outdoor and adventurous shoots. Despite its robust build and high-performance optics, the lens maintains a manageable weight of 375g, ensuring comfortable handling and portability for extended shooting sessions.
