The NiSi 67mm Circular Black Mist 1/4 brings NiSi's cinema-line 'Allure Mist Black' look to a standard screw-in circular filter, softening highlights and blemishes for a more cinematic still or video image.
- Effect: Lowers contrast and diffuses highlights within the frame, balancing the tonal range between highlights and shadows for a cinematic look.
- Common Use: Frequently used to soften wrinkles and blemishes and create a flattering image of a subject.
- Flare Rendering: Produces a soft, transparent flare when capturing backlit light sources, similar to the look of older, high-class lenses.
- Frame: Built with a brass frame for added durability and to help prevent the filter from jamming in its housing.
- Strength: This is the 1/4 grade; NiSi also offers 1/8 strength, with the diffusion effect roughly doubling with each grade increase.
- Size: Sized for 67mm filter threads.
