Key Features
The Sony HT-A8000 BRAVIA Theater Bar 8 is a single-unit soundbar built to fill a room with movie-theater sound without a separate box of surround speakers. Eleven built-in speakers work with Dolby Atmos and DTS:X plus Sony's 360 Spatial Sound Mapping to place effects precisely around the room, and it's expandable later with wireless rear speakers or a subwoofer for a full home theater system.
Key Specifications
- Speaker array: 11 built-in speaker channels with Dolby Atmos and DTS:X decoding.
- Spatial audio: 360 Spatial Sound Mapping places height and surround effects around the room from a single bar.
- Connectivity: HDMI 2.1 pass-through, Bluetooth, Spotify Connect, and AirPlay 2.
- Expandable: Pairs wirelessly with optional Sony rear speakers and subwoofers for a full surround setup.
- TV integration: Works with BRAVIA TVs for one-remote control and exclusive picture/sound features.
