The DC-A1 is built around a 2800-nit display bright enough to stay readable in direct sunlight, a common failure point for cheaper on-camera monitors. A full touchscreen paired with a control knob and custom buttons gives quick access to key functions without digging through menus, and standard monitoring tools — focus peaking, zebras, waveform, and LUT support — are all built in for on-set exposure and focus checks. At only 348g with a 7" screen, it's compact enough for fast-paced outdoor shoots, and it can run on an NP-F battery, Type-C, or DC-IN power.
