ED140 FPL53 140mm f/6.5 Air-Spaced Triplet ED APO Refractor Telescope in Carbon Fiber with 3" HEX Focuser

The Explore Scientific ED140 is a 140mm f/6.5 air-spaced triplet apochromatic refractor built around genuine Ohara FPL-53 extra-low dispersion glass, aimed at visual observers and astrophotographers who want high-contrast, virtually chromatic-aberration-free views in a carbon fiber tube light enough to grab and go. Its 3-inch hexagonal focuser is rated to carry up to 10 lbs of imaging gear, making it practical for astrophotography setups as well as eyepiece viewing. Note: this model has been discontinued, with Explore Scientific's current APO Triplet Series continuing the line.
