FieldCast PTZ Monk (3G SDI/Ethernet to Fiber Converter with Power Out over Fiber)

The FieldCast PTZ Monk is a single-channel 3G SDI and Ethernet-to-fiber converter built specifically to run PTZ camera systems over a FieldCast fiber backbone. It converts a PTZ camera's SDI output to fiber, bridges its Ethernet control data into a Fiber Dock or Fiber Node's network, and delivers regulated power to the camera over the same fiber run, cutting down on separate cable runs at the camera position.

• 3G SDI to Fiber Conversion: Carries the PTZ camera's video output over a FieldCast fiber link.
• Built-In Ethernet Media Converter: Taps into the fiber optic Ethernet switch on a Fiber Dock or Fiber Node so the camera's control port joins the network.
• Power Over Fiber: Receives 24VDC over the hybrid fiber cable and converts it to a stable 12VDC XLR 4-pin output to feed the camera.
• Separate Standard Connectors: Dedicated power, SDI, and Ethernet ports patch directly to the PTZ camera.
