Fiber Dock One is a 4-channel control station that gets PTZ cameras off coaxial cable entirely, transporting SDI video, camera control data, and power all over a single lightweight FieldCast hybrid cable per camera. Each of the 4 channels handles 3G-SDI output straight to a switcher or monitor, and a PTZ controller plugs into the Dock's Ethernet port to act as a standard network switch between the controller and cameras — over fiber rather than copper. At the far end of each hybrid cable, a FieldCast PTZ Monk converts back to 3G-SDI, ethernet, and 12VDC output for the camera.
- 4 channels, one cable per camera: each hybrid cable carries uncompressed SDI video, control data, and power in a single flexible run.
- 4-channel 24VDC power supply: powers all four cameras over the same cable that carries their video and control signal.
- 3G-SDI output per channel: dual SDI output per channel lets you feed both a switcher and a local monitor.
- Ethernet passthrough for PTZ control: connect a PTZ controller directly to the Dock, which acts as a fiber-based ethernet switch to the cameras.
- Requires FieldCast PTZ Monk: one converter per camera at the far end of each hybrid cable (sold separately as part of the ecosystem).
