The Bresser Science IVM 401 Inverted Microscope flips the usual illumination and viewing direction, lighting samples from above and observing from below. It's aimed at research institutes, universities, water departments, and agricultural or medical labs that need to examine sediments and living organisms at the bottom of a liquid medium, such as plankton or protozoa in culture bottles that shouldn't be disturbed. The trinocular head adds a photo tube for documentation alongside live viewing.
