The NiSi 77mm Solar Filter Pro is a 16.6-stop ND built specifically for photographing the sun — strong enough to shoot solar detail directly without overexposing, with UV/IR cut coatings to keep color neutral.
- Light Reduction: ND100000 rating (5.0 density) provides a 16.6-stop light reduction, letting you capture solar detail without overexposing.
- Color Neutrality: Cuts UV and IR light for the most color-neutral solar images, with a Nano coating that also reduces reflections and glare.
- Fit: Attaches to and removes from a standard 77mm filter thread.
- Portability: Lightweight and compact for easy transport.
- Safety: Not safe for direct naked-eye solar viewing — use only for photography, install the filter and point the camera away from the sun before aligning, and use live view rather than an optical viewfinder when aiming at the sun.
- Heat Warning: The filter can absorb solar energy and get hot during use, so use care when removing it after a shoot.
