Key Features
The MSP318-4 extends HDMI over fiber for installs where distance or interference rules out copper, plugging the transmitter directly into an HDMI source and connecting to either single- or multi-mode fiber. It's HDCP-compliant at resolutions up to 3840x2160@60Hz, reaching up to 300m over multi-mode fiber or up to 2000m over single-mode fiber, and its compact, low-voltage-powered design makes it suited to portable rigs or tight installation spaces where a bulkier extender wouldn't fit.
- Up to 3840x2160@60Hz, HDCP compliant: 10.2Gb/s transmission speed with a 1310/1550nm laser diode optical source.
- Long fiber reach: up to 300m over multi-mode fiber, or up to 2000m over single-mode fiber (HDCP not compatible at max distance).
- Integral LC fiber ports: built-in 1310/1550nm WDM filter, resistant to electromagnetic interference.
- Compact, portable design: low-voltage power supply included at each end, EDID management via micro-USB.
