The MOTU LP32 is an ADAT optical audio interface built for studios and installers who need to route, convert, and mix lightpipe audio across a facility. It suits engineers integrating optical gear with AVB-TSN networks who want a single box for conversion, splitting, and DSP mixing. Standalone wireless control means routing and mixing changes can happen without a connected computer.
- 32 Channels of ADAT Optical Audio: Four independent 8-channel ADAT optical banks at 44.1/48kHz, or 16 channels via SMUX at 88.2/96kHz.
- Switchable TOSLink Support: Each optical port switches individually to stereo TOSLink (optical S/PDIF) regardless of sample rate.
- 48-Input DSP Mixer: A 48-input digital mixer with 7 stereo aux busses, 3 stereo groups, and built-in reverb, EQ, gate, and compression.
- Standalone Wireless Control: Connects to a standard Wi-Fi router for wireless control without a computer.
- USB 2.0 and AVB-TSN Connectivity: Universal connectivity over USB 2.0 (3.0/iOS compatible) plus AVB-TSN networking over 100-meter cable runs.
- Includes AudioDesk Software: Ships with AudioDesk workstation software for Mac and Windows with 24-bit recording and 32-bit mixing.
