- Color Impact: Increases saturation and contrast — commonly used to deepen blue skies and white clouds — without affecting the shot's overall color balance.
- Circular vs Linear: Built as a circular polarizer, recommended over a linear polarizer for cameras using semi-silvered mirrors or prisms for exposure and focus metering.
- Wide-Angle Note: On lenses 28mm or wider, ProMaster recommends a Wide Circular Polarizer instead to avoid vignetting.
