The NiSi 82mm Circular Black Mist 1/8 is the lightest intensity in NiSi's circular Black Mist line, a redevelopment of the brand's popular cinema Allure Mist Black filter for stills and video shooters who want a subtle version of the diffused, cinematic look. It lowers contrast and diffuses highlights just enough to balance tonal range and soften minor skin texture, without heavily obscuring the image. A brass frame adds durability and helps prevent the filter from jamming in a lens's filter threads.
- Subtle diffusion effect: The 1/8 grade is the lightest of NiSi's three circular Black Mist intensities (1/8, 1/4, 1/2), with each step up roughly doubling the effect.
